John DeChancie

John DeChancie John DeChancie is the author of over two dozen books. He is best known for the Skyway Trilogy (Starrigger, Red Limit Freeway, Paradox Alley) and for his series of seriocomic fantasy novels beginning with Castle Perilous. Originally from western Pennsylvania, he has spent the last fourteen years in the Los Angeles area, where he is active in the local fan org, the Los Angeles Science Fantasy Society, serving as Secretary for two terms. He is a "fannish pro" and even pubs a couple of apazines. Despite all these black holes of fanac, he manages to write a short story now and then and get them published in anthologies. He has been working on a new novel for some time, and it will be out Very Soon Now.
