Lawrence Person is a science fiction writer living in Austin, Texas. His work has appeared in Asimov's, Fantasy & Science Fiction, Analog, Postscripts, Jim Baen's Universe, Fear, National Review, Reason, Whole Earth Review, The Freeman, Science Fiction Eye, The New York Review of Science Fiction and Slashdot.org, as well as several anthologies. He's the once and future editor of the Hugo-nominated SF critical magazine Nova Express and runs Lame Excuse Books.
