Todd Brun
Todd Brun is a theoretical physicist who does research on quantum computers, quantum communications, and computers with closed timelike curves (physicist-speak for time machines). He discovered science fiction and fantasy at an early age, and has been a fan ever since, which undoubtedly influenced his choice of research topics. He is now a professor at the University of Southern California. Todd lives in Pasadena with his wife, Cara King, a published Regency Romance author and long-time science fiction fan.

One small idea could potentially prompt one large step for mankind. For example, wars end but buried land mines become the surprise gifts that keep on giving. Angola alone has six million hidden, unexploded ordnance. It costs $3 to plant a land mine and $300-$1,000 to get rid of it.
